With emotional awareness we start our journey towards healing and bettering our life.
I am sure that you have heard the phrase ”emotions are our guiding system”.
And they are.
Starting the journey of emotional awareness lead us to recognising our emotional states which are parts of our mental states as the thoughts we think are related to emotions. Our mental states are what runs our nervous system and our nervous system is what defines our life experience.
Healing our life is healing our “nervous system” which means that we are emotionally and mentally equipped to live the life we want.
Emotionally and mentally equipped, what a phrase? I heard it this morning as an affirmation from motivational author Louise Hay and it lighted a bulb in my brain truly. Because a traumatised nervous system will give us a traumatised life experiences.
Trauma blocks our ability to receive the life experiences that we want and long for, it decreases both our emotional and mental abilities to receive the goodness of life.
So, healing is truly what we should focus upon as it is the way to change our lives and our life experience.

What loads of high emotions are showing here right? I remember I got sick this same day from the cold weather and the Christmas market crowds lol, but I am bringing the video to share an example of a high emotional state and also to declare that seeing the video still takes me there. I believe we can also through our stored memory recall beautiful experiences and this could be a form of healing to our nervous system, this technique is used a lot in meditation.
