To come out of being stuck
The way out of a sticky situation.
When you feel you are stuck in a situation that you donβt like, you must ask yourself this very important question.
What am I avoiding ?
What is it that I am avoiding?
I come to experience that being stuck can be related to avoidance.
Here comes some answers.
It could be fear, fear of moving forward. Why?
Moving forward means sometimes leaving many people behind and this is very difficult to our nervous system especially if in our childhood we learned to connect to others in un healthy ways (most of us are). And as social beings this is very difficult to us.
Connection is the essence to our human experience.
The actions we avoid doing in my experience are related to some emotion.
It could be fear that we donβt want to face.
Facing this fear can be hard but it is worth it.It is a form of Acceptance and Acceptance has a huge transformational power.
It is always worth it to accept our situation totally in order to be able to create change and transform it.
You could also be avoiding anger, many of us were conditioned to perceive anger as a negative emotion, especially women and in different cultures.
Anger is usually hiding something (or covering something), you can check my article about anger here.
Anger is a powerful energy that you can start allowing yourself to feel it.
Give your self the right to feel it and express it.
Ask yourself: how can I express my anger?
Every one of us has a unique way to express ourselves and our emotions, so it is important to also be in tune with how we can express in the most natural way to us.
Screaming in the car used to be one of my favourite ways to express my anger (lol), I also journal my anger as I love to write a lot.
Anger is a healthy emotion, it shows us something always.
So, to unstuck ourselves: Let us explore what we are avoiding.
Much love your way,
