Thoughts on our humanity
My thoughts on 1/1/2026
What if our humanity is a big building? and each one of us is a a building block forming part of this building?
The base of the building is our human ancestors and the building can be as tall as a sky rocket tower (or taller) with the future human generations as the new building blocks .
These were my thoughts on the morning and afternoon of the first of January of the new year.
And my imagination led me even more to viewing our actions as the force by which the blocks are placed. And our feelings and thoughts for each other are like the cement that makes the blocks stick together.
Then based on Carl Jung work we are influenced by different archetypes, this means to me that our humanity is an archetype participating in the bigger picture of creation.
The second part of this article is meant to make you reflect and think about the questions that are written.
Is the way of the human then is acting like this? both positively and negatively? in alignment with earth and life and against earth and life also?
Let us go back to the building..
This tall building, is it shaking? or is it stable and sure?
Using this example, where are we today?
Did we build a weak base ? Did our ancestors do a good job? all of them? part of them?
If the quality of the cement is based on love how strong is the cement?
I donβt believe in healing only in an individual level anymore. It serves us to some point and it is necessary but we need to face the truth and the reality of our interconnectedness to heal all together and to understand each other and the state of the world and our humanity.
And what about the natural factors that make the building stand tall and strong?What about the Rain? The Sun? The Wind? The Land itself? What about natural disasters?
Can we really stand in our humanity without care to nature then?
I leave you with this example and this reflection, hope it lands where it needs to for you.
