The value of cultivating safety.
Safety is the core of our healing journey.
Safety is such an important state of well being, feeling safe can be greatly the dominator of our wellbeing.
It is a state which means it is a set of emotions, feelings and thoughts, also all the behaviour that enforces safety or not.

Feeling safe is directly connected to Feeling grounded. And feeling grounded is how we can live a healthy life on this earth, belonging to it and realising that we are part of it.
Safety is also what regulates our nervous system, because trauma happens because of fear (extreme or not).
And feeling safe definitely is the base ground for our healing journey.
Feeling safe would also help us a lot in facing the mental and emotional patterns that keep us stuck in our life (when we are learning what are they, we would actually need to feel safe in order to heal them).
You can do a test now and ask yourself this: Am I afraid or not? at this moment?
Anxiety, nervousness and worry are all fears. Who is not afraid really then among us?
Feeling safe enables our authenticity to shine also. It makes us accept who we are and unfortunately most of us if not all of us doesnβt live in a state of safety and thus we live like we are scared from the world, from living the life we came to live.
The world we live at is not safe also. I mean externally.
This is one of things that surely triggers us as a collective that live in this earth. If we open the news we will know that immediately. Let alone the fact that many of us live in direct contact and proximity with violence whether it is wars, climate crisis or even a small hostile family environment or structural systems applying violence and oppression against them.
What is our solution?
We must cultivate safety internally through our inner connection to our selves and then practicing the feelings of this inner connection being what actually connects us to the world. And this is the goal of healing. Being safe and well to live our human life.
Feeling safe, Grounded and part of this beautiful earth.
We will realise gradually also through feeling safe that we are one with everything. Mentally it is easy to be understood but cultivating this internally, through practices of feeling safe in the world will not only enables our feelings of belonging but it will also helps us in living a healthy, safe life.
