The concept of slowing down can be so revolutionary in these times we are living.
Everything is so fast, we live in a hyper stimulating culture with a continuous almost non stop flow of needs for our lives whether from work, family or friends and other relationships we have.
Time itself feels so fast and passes so quickly.
If this resonates with you, I invite you to slow down today.
Breathe..
Breathe again..
Breathe again..
Why should we learn to slow dow?
First of all it interrupts our learned patterns of hurrying up.
We all learned to hurry. And to do life in a hurry but if we open our window and observe the sky, or go to a park and observe a bird we will shift immediately to slowing down.
This in itself should let us know that hurrying up is not our natural state and slowing down in this way teaches us to connect with our true nature more.
Then slowing down becomes a healing experience. It allows us to connect more with our present moment and even to be able to process a lot of our emotions which hurrying up taught us to escape and run away from.
And finally slowing down becomes a state of continuous gratitude. It allows us to take in what life is offering us in every moment in place of living like running away from life or running towards life.
As we slow down, we become in harmony with life.
Consider slowing down.
I send you much love.
