Curiosity?
Can it be a way to heal restriction patterns?
What is curiosity?
To define what is curiosity, I invite you to imagine a little child maybe two or three years old in a new βfreeβ environment, no rules nor restrictions.
What would this child do? Imagine it.Let your imagination fly.
This is curiosity.
This free open state.
Many of us through the process of socialisation (or conditioning) loose touch with this curiosity.
Through fear based rules and through control we learned to shutoff our natural state of curiosity.
Curiosity holds within it an openness, it allows wonder and even encourages imagination.
Who are we without our imagination?
Can you imagine us as humans living without our imagination? Nothing would have been created then.Impossible yeah?
And if this imagination gets to be free?
This curious natural state can be re-activated and re-ignited and this will help us in healing restrictive and controlling patterns within us without effort.
(Restrictive patterns are the group of thoughts and emotions that are restrictive and controlling for our natural state. Most probably they run in our unconscious mind. Meaning we donβt have conscious awareness about them)
The exercise below will help you greatly in discovering them, be open and curious.
My invitation to you is to journal about this:
1-Do I feel curious in my daily life?
2-Do I practise curiosity?
3-Can I be more curious?
4-Where do I feel I am restricting myself?
5-Can I add curiosity to this place of restriction?
6-What is one action I can do today to be more curious?
I send you much Love.
